2013平遥摄影大展之“老友记—五人中国行”

我们喜欢周游世界，更喜欢将世间万物定格于镜头之中。不管是专业的还是业余的，不管兴趣和经历如何迥然，我们相信，在平遥国际摄影节上, 我们的作品将会给大家带来全新的视觉盛宴。

    “We are five professional and advanced amateur photographers who have all traveled and photographed through out the world. With very different photographic interests and experience, we feel our photographs represent a broad spectrum of work that may interest the Chinese and foreign visitors to the Pingyao Photographic Arts Festival.”

    作者简介：

    南希，从事商业摄影35年多。在纽约工作了25年之后，她回到佛罗里达州波卡拉顿创办了自己的工作室。南希的主要关注对象是人、生活、旅行。过去六年间，她一直在中国拍摄旅行照片。南希已经出版了5本摄影著作：2009年出版《广告人物摄影》，《商业人物摄影》，《人体摄影》，《人物摄影》（数码摄影大师系列）和2011年11月出版的《本色中国》。

    Nancy has been a commercial photographer for over thirty five years．After working out of New York City for twenty five years, she is now working out of her studio in Boca Raton, Florida. Nancy specializes in people/lifestyle and travel photography. In the last six years China has become her favorite place to make travel images. She has had five photography books published: Photographing People for advertising, Photographing People for Stock, Nude and Beauty Photography, and People Photography (Digital Master Series) in 2009. Her book Simply China was released in November 2011.

    这些作品是在工作室，沙滩和游泳池完成的。我喜欢在纯白的背景中和婴儿、小孩一起工作，拍摄美丽的图片。纯粹的画面透露着孩子们的天真无邪。你永远不知道他们接下来会做什么，这使得拍摄非常有趣。我也经常使用蹦床来营造一种自由和快乐的氛围。

    My images in this show are a collection of images done in my studio, at the beach and in my swimming pool. I love making beauty images and I love working with babies and children on a white background so there is nothing but their personalities to focus on. You never know what they are going to do and it is such fun. I also use a trampoline a lot for a feeling of freedom and joy.

    作品名称：核事故后的切尔诺贝利 Chernobyl After Nuclear Accident

    作品简介：

    1986年4月26日凌晨1点23分，切尔诺贝利核电站4号反应堆在系统测试时爆炸。一度繁华的切尔诺贝利和普里皮亚季变成了鬼城。 破败，寂静，空虚笼罩着一切。空气污染严重，到处阴森森的，使人心烦意乱。城镇一片荒芜，只能听到风在废弃的建筑物不停地哀叹和颤抖并敲打着破碎玻璃窗的声音。然而，自然的力量使这片土地渐渐复原，弥补了人为灾难留下的创伤。

    On April 26, 1986, at l: 23 a.m. Reactor #4 of the Chomobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded during a system test. The once thriving towns of Chomobyl and Prypiat are now ghost towns. There is something about the devastation, the silence, the emptiness that I find compelling. The air hangs heavy and there is an all pervasive eeriness which sets nerves on edge. The towns are desolate. The only sound comes from the wind as it blows through the broken window panes causing the abandoned buildings to shudder and sigh. However, nature is slowly reclaiming the area and covering over the disaster wreaked by man.

    安娜•玛丽•福盖特于1959年出生于加拿大魁北克省。22岁时，已是商业影印界的一名超级模特，为西北航空、公主邮轮、美国运通等诸多国际公司服务。她曾游历50多个国家，涉足5个大陆。最新作品摄于缅甸、泰国、意大利和阿根廷。在此期间，她积累了来自不同国家和民族的人物视频和图片。

    Anne Mari Forget was born in Quebec, Canada in 1959. At the age of 22 she was already a top model featured in commercial print and film for clients that included Northwest Airlines, Princess Cruises, American Express and many other international companies. Her career as a model and photographer has taken her to over 50 countries and 5 continents. Her most recent photo tours included Burma, Thailand, Italy and Argentina. During this time she has accumulated a large collection of video and print images of people from many different countries and ethnicities.

    本次展览记录了安娜的好友——迈克尔•阿鲁斯克的足迹。迈克尔是个技艺高超的武术大师，体能教练兼瑜伽教练。他最喜欢把他的特技展现给大家，那超凡的力量和敏捷总得博得大家的欢笑。他的其中一项展示就是像面旗帜一样挂在风中。世界各地的人们都曾见识过他的表演，并为之惊叹，为之喝彩。他就像一面水平展开的 “活旗帜”，高挂在任何他能抓得住的“旗杆”上。

    This exhibition celebrates my travels a dear friend of mine, Michael Olusczak. Michael is a dedicated martial artist, physical trainer and yoga instructor who loves to amuse people with his acrobatic feats that display his exceptional strength and agility. One of Michael’s favorite acrobatic displays is to look like a human flag flying in the wind. People around the world have been pleasantly surprised and amused to see Michael suspended horizontally—like a human “flag”—from just about anything that he can grab onto.

    作者简介：

    1951年,杰奎琳•内拉赫出生于瑞士。小时候得到的美能达相机，让她对摄影产生了浓厚的兴趣。在担任多语种个人助理时，她参加了许多瑞士和欧洲举办的摄影研讨会。她还是美发杂志的编辑和摄影师。她喜欢拍摄旅游照片，如缅甸，加拿大，中国，古巴，厄瓜多尔/加拉帕戈斯群岛，欧洲，以色列，牙买加，老挝，俄罗斯，泰国，特立尼达/多巴哥，突尼斯，土耳其和美国。她也是一位卓越的艺术摄影师。 2013年7月退休后，全身心投入摄影工作。

    Jacqueline Neeracher was born in 1951, Switzerland. Since she received a Minolta camera as a child she has been a passionate photographer. While pursuing her career as a multilingual personal assistant she attended many photography workshops in Switzerland and Europe. She was also an editor and photographer for a magazine for hairdressers. Her favorite subjects are travel pictures, like in Burma/Myanmar, Canada, China, Cuba, Ecuador/Galapagos, Europe, Israel, Jamaica, Laos, Russia, Thailand, Trinidad﹠Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey and USA. She also is an accomplished macro and art photographer. Retired in July 2013, she devoted her life to photography entirely now.

    I always loved this photograph of me when I was a child. It was taken by a family member and was in black and white. I remember the outfit very well because I was so dressed up with the hat and earrings. I always wished the image was in color because I cannot remember the color of the clothes, the jewelry, or the hat. So now with these images I have a choice of what colors I want it to be and it brings back happy memories of my childhood.

    汤姆毕业于华盛顿斯波坎贡萨加大学电机工程专业。1980年，正式成为美国合众国际新闻社的专职摄影师，此前，他就职于太平洋西北地区的一家小型日报社。工作期间，他报道过诸多新闻事件，包括航天航空、政治会议、体育赛事，格林纳达入侵事件、古巴生活。在过去的20年里，汤姆曾为消费者杂志、贸易期刊、公司、学校等诸多媒体提供摄影作品。汤姆多拍风土人情，并擅于通过传统新闻摄影挖掘新事物。

    He is a graduate of Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, (BS Electrical Engineering). After working for a world’s fair and small daily newspaper in the Pacific Northwest he moved to Miami in 1 980 as a staff photographer for United Press international. For ten years he covered news events as varied the Space Shuttle, political conventions, sporting events, the invasion of Grenada and life inside Cuba. For the past twenty years he has photographed for consumer magazines, trade journals, corporations and universities, specializing in environmental portraits of real people on location and capturing events as they unfold through traditional photojournalism.

    Everglades National Park in the state of Florida was created to protect a fragile ecosystem, and is the largest subtropical wildness United States. The Everglades are a network of wetlands and forests fed by a slow river moving, 40 km per day out of Lake Okeechobee, southwest into Florida Bay. The park is the most significant breeding ground for tropical wading birds in North America, contains the largest mangrove ecosystem in the western hemisphere, is home to 36 protected species of mammals, and 50 species of reptiles.
