“滚动中的雪球 ”"Rolling Snowball"
自2010年起，欧艺策划了一系列命名为“滚动中的雪球”的大型国际当代艺术交流展；通过与其他国内外艺术机构的合作，集中地在厦门以外的城市展示欧艺驻馆艺术家的作品。交流展目前已举办过7届，合作过的国内机构包括上海世博会(2010)、泉州领SHOW天地(2011/13)、广州红专厂艺术设计工厂(2012)；自2014年起，欧艺每年夏天在冰岛东部城镇都皮沃谷尔举办“滚动中的雪球”(2014/15/16)，并组织中国、荷兰及冰岛艺术家在地驻馆创作交流。
Since 2010, CEAC has organized a series of large-scale group exhibitions featuring invited and past resident artists under the overarching theme “Rolling Snowball” outside of Xiamen and outside China. A total of seven exhibitions have been realized in collaboration with cultural organizations in cities including Shanghai (2010), Guangzhou (2012), Quanzhou (2011/13) and Djúpivogur, Iceland (2014/15/16).

2017年是荷兰王国驻广州总领事馆成立二十周年。欧艺作为荷兰在中国东南最重要的文化落脚点，策划并组织了与三影堂厦门摄影艺术中心联合主办的第八届“滚动中的雪球”中荷当代艺术联展，庆祝并加深中荷两国之间以艺术为纽带的文化往来。
自1999年以来，欧艺深深扎根于厦门这座亚热带岛屿，致力于为世界各地远道而来的艺术家们提供一个家一般的落脚点，为他们提供生活、创作、研究方面的支持。18年来，欧艺有幸参与了众多世界一流当代艺术家们终生难忘的探索与发现之旅，不断见证着认知被颠覆和重组的奇妙过程。而这也正是欧艺自创立之初便把通过跨文化对话实现思想的解放、蜕变及成长作为机构核心使命的原因。
第八届“滚动中的雪球”以《归》为题，探讨“家”和“回归”这两个概念在物质和精神层面的存在形式及美学意义，探究“别处”的别样美学。
2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou. In celebration of this meaningful occasion, CEAC, as the most important anchor point for the promotion of Dutch culture in Southeast China, has curated and organized the 8th edition of "Rolling Snowball", co-hosted by Three Shadows Xiamen Photography Art Centre, to deepen the cultural exchange between China and the Netherlands through contemporary art.
Since 1999, the Chinese European Art Center, deeply rooted in its home base on the subtropical island of Xiamen, has served as a home away from home to more than 300 artists and creative professionals from all around the world. For 18 years, CEAC has been fortunate to be a part of the life-changing, perception-altering journeys of some of the world’s most brilliant creative minds. Witnessing the familiar becomes unfamiliar and vice versa for those who engage in CEAC’s work, it was decided from the very beginning that liberation, transformation and growth through inter-cultural dialogues are at the core of CEAC’s organizational mission.
Titled "Homecoming", the 8th edition of "Rolling Snowball" discusses the form of existence and aesthetic significance of the concepts of home and returning home, exploring the aesthetics of "elsewhere".

中国欧洲艺术中心 CEAC
中国欧洲艺术中心于一九九九年与厦门大学艺术学院共同创建，由荷兰籍伊尼卡·顾蒙逊女士和厦大艺术学院秦俭教授联合发起，为非营利艺术机构。其核心的国际艺术家驻馆项目是中国大陆开始最早及运营时间最长的驻馆项目之一，接待来自世界各地各个创意领域的视觉艺术家、设计师、策展人、作曲家和作家等等。中心每年的活动日程不仅包括常态化的驻馆艺术家及特邀艺术家展览，还举办一系列相关的讲座、工作坊、户外影像放映会及音乐会等多种类的文化交流活动。
The Chinese European Art Center (CEAC) was co-founded by Mrs. Ineke Gudmundsson from the Netherlands and Professor Qin Jian from Xiamen Univeristy Art College in 1999. A non-profit multi-disciplinary art center, CEAC hosts one of the first and longest running Artist-in-Residence programs in China open to visual artists, architects, designers, curators, composers and writers from around the world.CEAC’s events calendar features regular exhibitions showcasing invited and resident artists along with a supplementary program including lectures, workshops, concerts and outdoor film screenings.
